Bio
Gary Lee Heard has operated a photographic studio in Rochester, NY for the past 15 years. Combining photography, darkroom manipulation, airbrushing and computer techniques he has created a hybrid illustration style that he now uses in commercial assignment and commission portraiture. His images have been seen on the pages of magazines such as Forbes, Fortune, Esquire, Bon Apetit, Architectural Digest and Rolling Stone. Some of his commercial accounts include Kodak, Xerox, Bausch and Lomb and Gore Tex. He has produced cover art for musicians Jeff Tyzik, John Ellison and Metallica. His Portrait work hangs in homes around the country.
